EPISODE 26

At this point in the Maljardin storyline, Erica has been dead 10 days.

This episode establishes that Alison’s field of study is organ culture and regeneration.
Alison is curious as to why Menkin had so many notes and books on replacing organs, cryonics, etc. when Erica’s death was so sudden. This question is never answered. According to Erica, he did many experiments, but what type is never explained. She wonders whether or not Erica’s death was sudden, but this plot point is never elaborated upon on screen. In reality, it is a remnant of a storyline that involved Menkin attempting to reconstruct Erica's body due to her being in a horrible car accident.
Jean Paul again utters the oft-used phrase “on this island, I am God”
Jean Paul, possesed by Jacques, asks Raxl to prepare kippers for him. Surprised, Raxl reveals that Jean Paul hasn’t eaten kippers in “years”
When Raxl first enters the room, Jean Paul addresses her by name. However, Colin Fox's pronunciation comes out as “Rascal.”

As Jean Paul/Jacques records a message in the secret room, he turns off the recorder (image 1) yet keeps speaking into the microphone (image 2).  In the next scene, the recorder is running again.

In the scenes where Holly is knocking on Jean Paul’s bedroom door, there is a chair to the right of the door (image 1). Later, when Holly knocks again and jean Paul answers, the chair is missing (image 2).

    EPISODE 28
This episode gives a third description to the portrait over the mantle. According to Jacques, the portrait over the mantle is of Aunt Terez who is three generations removed on his mother’s side.  She strangled her husband with a drape cord. This contradicts Jacques’ statements in an earlier episode, where he said the painting was of a woman named Louise Sophie. Both of these interpretations are at odds with the nameplate, which clearly indicates the portrait is of Marie Anne DesMondes
Also according to Jacques, the portrait by the stairs is Uncle “Ethan” who was born on April 2nd and lived an undistinguished life. Again, this is at odds with what is stated in earlier episodes, which establish the man in the portrait as Etian DesMondes, not Ethan.
Vangie, Raxl, Quito, and Reverend Dawson are in credits but do not appear in the show.

    EPISODE 29
    Highslide JS
The amount of cyanide missing from Menkin's lab is determined to be 300 grams.
Quito reveals that the cyanide bottle was taken by Jean Paul two days prior. This plot thread is never explicitly followed up on, although it is inferred that Alison later dies of cyanide poisoning, put in her drink by Erica.
300 “grams” of cyanide are missing, despite the fact that it is established that the bottle contained liquid, which is normally not measured in grams.

    EPISODE 30
    Highslide JS
When Jean Paul is possessed by Jacques the painting of Jacques remains empty (image). Normally, the painting is only shown empty to the viewer to indicate Jacques' possession of Jean Paul. When shown in other scenes, the painting appears complete.

This is the first time in several episodes that anyone other that Quito has left the island.

The same couple that Vangie can be seen giving a Tarot reading to in episode 26 (image 1) can be seen in the background at the cafe (image 2).
When speaking to the Reverend, Cosette Lee pronounces "Eloi" (el-wah) as "El-way"
    Highslide JS
Holly claims she is pushed down the stairs, yet the mystery of who might have done it is never resolved, or even mentioned again. Script notes indicate that it was Erica's spirit that did it, but this is never stated on screen.

At the café, menus are seen at every table except for the one that Jean Paul and Mrs. Marshall sit at.
    Highslide JS
At Jean Paul/Jacques' table at the Cafe, Vangie drops the The King of Scepters tarot card which causes Jacques to leave Jean Paul. However, the significance of the card is never explained.
